How do I open Klip?
Press ⌘⇧V from anywhere. Klip appears at your cursor.
Where is my clipboard data stored?
Locally at ~/Library/Application Support/Klip/. Never transmitted anywhere.
Does Klip need permissions?
No. Klip uses the Carbon hotkey API and NSPasteboard — no Accessibility permission required.
How do I change the language?
Open Preferences (⌘, from the menu bar icon) > General > Language.
Can I block certain apps?
Yes. Go to Preferences > Ignored Apps and select which apps to exclude.
My clipboard history disappeared
Check if you updated the app — the database path may have changed. Your data is at ~/Library/Application Support/Klip/klip.db
